Sign Up to Speak at a City Council Meeting

You can sign up to provide comment on a specific agenda item or during Call to the Public to speak about any concern you would like to bring before the City Council. Please note that the Council will typically not be able to respond to you directly during the meeting. You have the option to participate in the following different ways:

  • In person at City Hall (300 N. Campbell St)

  • By phone

  • By online teleconference

To sign up to provide public comment about a specific agenda item, make note of the item number and then fill out the form here. You will have the option to speak either at the start of the meeting at 10:00 AM or at the time the item is heard by the City Council during the course of the meeting. If you are unable to participate but would still like your comment to be heard by the City Council, you can submit a statement by email to CityClerk@elpasotexas.gov and ask that it be read into the record during the meeting.

The City Council also offers the option to speak during the Call to the Public portion of Regular City Council meetings regarding any topic that is not on the meeting agenda. Call to the Public begins at 10:00 AM or shortly thereafter following the end of the morning public comment period for agenda items. To sign up to speak during Call to the Public, please fill out the form here.
